About This Product
Zenith Zoysia is a great fit for both homes and commercial spaces. It's often used as a replacement for tall fescue because of its wide leaf blades — Zenith resembles tall fescue more than any other zoysia, but is more heat and drought tolerant than any tall fescue. Widely adaptable to full sun or moderate shade, Zenith needs at least 6–7 hours of direct, unfiltered sunlight. Its medium-green, medium-textured blades form a dense lawn that tolerates extreme heat and cold, from the southern coast to the upper transition zone. That density crowds out weeds and other grasses, and it requires less fertilization than other lawns — especially bermudagrasses. Zenith can be installed in winter or summer, mowed with a reel or rotary mower, and rides out extended drought by going dormant and greening up when rain returns. It's also the only zoysia available as both sod and seed.
