About This Product

TifBlair Centipede is a beautiful, dependable, low-maintenance Southern lawn. Adaptable to full sun or moderate shade, it performs with at least 6–7 hours of direct, unfiltered sunlight, and handles drought by going dormant and greening up again when rains return. Its light green, medium-textured blades grow slowly — meaning less mowing and easier mowing — and TifBlair stays greener longer in fall and greens up earlier in spring than common centipede. It has the lowest maintenance and fertility requirements of the quality southern lawn turfgrasses and grows well even on poor soils, making it the most environmentally friendly warm-season lawn. It's also available as both sod and seed.
