About This Product
The Lynx Professional 36-inch built-in grill pairs meticulous hand-crafted excellence with precision control. This L36TR configuration combines one Trident infrared burner with two cast ceramic burners for up to 73,000 BTU of precise, independently controlled power across three cooking zones, with ceramic briquettes over the burners for even heat distribution. The cooking surface provides 935 square inches (640 primary, 295 secondary) on stainless steel grilling grates, and the heat-stabilizing design keeps temperatures steady. A dual-position rotisserie - internally powered by a heavy-duty three-speed motor - teams with a rear infrared burner delivering up to 14,000 BTU, and a premium smoker box is included for slow-cooking excellence. The Lynx Hood Assist makes the hood easy to open, with a fluid rotation handle; dual halogen grill surface lights and blue-lit control knobs illuminate evening grilling, and a temperature gauge provides quick visibility. The reliable hot surface ignition system lights burners quickly and safely, and heavy-duty welded construction eliminates gaps where grease can collect. IMPORTANT: installation into a combustible enclosure requires the Lynx insulated jacket accessory (LIJ36, sold separately, not included) - do not remove the bracket or install the unit without the insulated jacket in a combustible enclosure, and the bracket must be removed to complete the install with the insulated jacket. For non-combustible applications the grill drops into the standard countertop cutout of 35 in W x 22 in D x 10 1/8 in H (9/16 in overhang notch detail), supported by its countertop flange - a deck is not required to support it from the bottom. Minimum clearances to adjacent combustible construction are 12 in from the sides and 6 1/4 in from the back, both below the countertop surface and for construction extending above it; do not use under unprotected overhead combustible construction (a vent hood is required for combustible overhead construction and highly recommended for non-combustible overhead). The enclosure should have ventilation holes to prevent gas build-up in the event of a leak, with at least two equally sized openings within 5 in of the top on two adjacent sides plus floor-level ventilation openings; a 2 in diameter utility hole (2 1/4 in from the right cutout edge, 2 in from the back edge of the cutout) must be provided for the gas and electrical connections. The grill requires an outdoor 120V/60Hz 15-amp GFI outlet adjacent to the unit, with the supplied 12VDC transformer installed below the grill within the cabinet enclosure, protected from water, heat and physical damage. Gas piping must never be less than 3/4 in inside diameter (or 1 in outside diameter), with an easily accessible shut-off valve; the grill ships from the factory set for natural gas or liquid propane (PRONGK1/PROLPK1 conversion kits available from Lynx). Backed by the Lynx Professional warranty: one-year full warranty (parts, shipping and authorized labor), 90-day cosmetic warranty, five-year limited warranty on burner assemblies, firebox, drip tray, manifolds, gas valves, rotisserie components, ignitor, warming racks and spit rods, and a limited lifetime warranty on the Trident burner, ceramic main burners and stainless steel cooking components (see lynxgrills.com/customer-care/warranty/lynx-professional-warranty for full terms).
