About This Product
The Napoleon Built-In 700 Series 18-inch Power Burner is a chef's dream: a two-stage burner with a high and a low setting that makes cooking huge meals, like a seafood boil, or small items, like a fresh sauce, a breeze. The drop-in burner delivers 60,000 BTU across 310 sq in of total cooking area (17.5 in. x 18 in. main), and it can be used as a side burner to make side dishes and sauces while grilling. Two-piece stainless steel rod cooking grids hold large pots, and the removable center ring perfectly nests a wok pan. The burner ships with a stainless steel cover. The control knobs feature SafetyGlow backlighting that glows cool blue and changes to red when on, and the no-fail battery-free JETFIRE ignition lights immediately with a unique jet of flame. Electrical power is required for the control knob lighting: when this burner is used in an application without a Built-In 700 Series built-in grill, the Napoleon Power Supply Kit N370-1091-SER (120V, sold separately, not included) is required to supply power for the control knobs; when installed alongside a Built-In 700 Series built-in grill, the burner can draw power from the grill's power system. Installation requires a non-combustible cabinet unless the corresponding Napoleon Zero Clearance Liner (BI-2423-ZCL, sold separately) is installed; the cut-out is 18-20 in. wide x 19.4-19.75 in. deep with a 10.25 in. minimum opening height, and per the owner's manual the BIB18PB requires a minimum wall distance of 17 in. to the rear and 20 in. to the sides. Natural gas models operate at 7 in. water column and propane models at 11 in. water column. Backed by Napoleon's Limited Lifetime Warranty.
