About This Product
When only the best will do, the flagship Fire Magic Echelon Diamond combines the ultimate in performance, beauty, and innovation. With sleek lines highlighted by a modern black glass control panel, this 30-inch Echelon E660i built-in grill features an analog thermometer embedded in the hood for consistent temperature monitoring (measuring up to 1000 degrees F). This is the standard E660i-9E configuration with analog thermometer WITHOUT the optional Magic View Window (E660i-9EAN natural gas / E660i-9EAP propane; the optional window version is E660i-9EAN-W). Cast stainless steel burners deliver 75,000 BTUs of total main-burner output and power an innovative heat distribution system topped with patented Diamond Sear cooking grids, whose smooth flat-top bars are shaped to optimally transfer heat from the burners to the cooking surface so food cooks faster and more evenly. The primary cooking surface measures 30 in W x 22 in D (660 sq in) with a removable warming rack of 30 in W x 8 in D (288 sq in), above heavy-gauge stainless steel Flavor Grids that disperse heat quickly and evenly, vaporize juices for flavor, and minimize flare-ups. A recessed premium infrared backburner (11,000 BTUs) with polished stainless steel protective cover is INCLUDED as standard equipment on this configuration. The double-walled 304 stainless steel hood opens a full 90 degrees with spring assist for smooth opening, angled 12V halogen internal oven lamps enhance evening grilling, comfort-touch knobs are back-lit (the flame icon turns red when on), and a push-to-light hot surface electric ignition system with flash tubes lights the burners. IMPORTANT: rotisserie kit contents (spit rod, motor, meat forks, counterbalance) are not itemized as standard inclusions in the current extracted manufacturer documentation and are not labeled as included (the backburner itself is standard; a rotisserie rod storage bracket is part of the grill). The optional Magic View Window (E660i-9EAN-W) is NOT included in this configuration. Built-in installation requires a countertop cutout of 31 1/4 in W x 23 1/2 in D x 11 1/2 in H; Fire Magic's published cutout dimensions are for non-combustible construction, and if installing in a COMBUSTIBLE enclosure the correct R.H. Peterson insulating liner for this grill (model 3176-52, sold separately, not included) must be used with a non-combustible countertop. The enclosure must be installed on a hard and level surface, properly vented in accordance with the owner's manual, and provide a properly wired, grounded 120VAC (15 amp minimum) GFCI-protected three-wire receptacle for the electronic lighting and hot surface ignition. A minimum 5-foot clearance is required between the countertop and overhead construction; the rear of the unit must have a minimum 4-inch clearance from any backsplash/non-combustible wall; do not install under combustible overhead construction without a suitable UL 710 or ULc S646 approved heavy duty vent hood. The gas shut-off valve must be within 6 feet of the unit and easily accessible, and if a solid area exists beneath the unit a 1 1/2-inch diameter or square hole must be provided for the gas supply. Backed by the industry-leading Fire Magic warranty: lifetime on cast stainless steel burners, Diamond Sear and rod stainless steel cooking grids, and the stainless steel housing (see firemagicgrills.com/warranty-2 for full terms).
