Frost Proof Gardenia
Gardenia jasminoides 'Frostproof'
A durable, upright gardenia cultivar with fragrant white flowers and increased cold tolerance.
Availability varies by supplier and season.
About This Product
Frost Proof Gardenia is valued for its large, intensely fragrant white blooms and its ability to withstand late spring frosts that might damage other varieties. Its compact, upright form and glossy dark foliage make it ideal for mass planting near patios or entries where the scent can be enjoyed. It performs best in rich, slightly acidic, well-draining soil.
