Phlox subulata
A low-growing, mat-forming groundcover that erupts in a carpet of colorful blooms every spring.
Availability varies by supplier and season.
About This Product
Creeping phlox features needle-like, evergreen foliage that creates a dense green mat throughout the year. In early spring, the plant is completely blanketed in star-shaped flowers, making it ideal for rock gardens or cascading over stone walls. This hardy plant is highly effective at suppressing weeds in sunny landscapes.
